About the Role
An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced Consultant Obstetrics Specialist to join a world-class hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will lead the management of complex obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies, while mentoring junior physicians and contributing to patient-centred care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage routine and high-risk obstetric cases

• Perform advanced antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal procedures

• Ensure optimal maternal and fetal outcomes through evidence-based care

• Lead a team of junior doctors and midwives, supporting training and mentorship

• Participate in clinical audits, medical education, and quality improvement

• Maintain detailed, accurate records in line with hospital protocols

✅ Candidate Requirements

Required:

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution

• CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Minimum 3 years’ post-board certification experience in obstetrics

• Proven experience with high-risk pregnancy management and complex deliveries

• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous

• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred:

• Fellowship or additional subspecialisation in Obstetrics

• Supervisory or leadership experience in a maternity or tertiary care setting
